Grünerløkka: A Microcosm of History and Culture
We strolled through Grünerløkka, along the Akerselva River, tasting local Norwegian cuisine. The old buildings in the area seemed to narrate the city’s history. The warmth of the local people allowed us to feel Oslo’s cultural atmosphere. In this district, I discovered many unique shops and galleries, filled with artistic vibes.
Viking Ship Museum: Witness to Viking History
At the Viking Ship Museum, we felt as if we had traveled back to the Viking era thousands of years ago. After seeing the magnificent Viking ships and precious wooden carvings, I was amazed by the wisdom and bravery of the Vikings. Imagining them sailing these ships on the turbulent seas, I marveled at this ancient civilization.

Upon arriving in Bergen, we visited the old wooden houses of Bryggen and felt the prosperity of the Hanseatic League era in Norway. There, we met an elderly fisherman who shared a beautiful tale of Bergen with us. This legend made Bergen even more enchanting, as if the city were a living fairy tale.
Mount Fløyen: A Perfect Vantage Point to Overlook Bergen
We took the cable car up Mount Fløyen, enjoying the beautiful views of Bergen along the way. At the summit, I was captivated by the stunning scenery of the city. The fresh air here made it an incredibly comfortable experience. Looking back on the picturesque view of Bergen from the mountaintop, it was truly intoxicating.
Bergen Fish Market: Savoring Norwegian Seafood Delicacies
At the Bergen Fish Market, we tasted fresh and delicious seafood snacks, especially the tender and flavorful salmon sashimi, which was unforgettable. There, we also met a local fisherman who taught us how to select the most delicious seafood. The seafood delicacies allowed us to experience Norwegian food culture.
